Growing up in Queens, NY in the 70s and 80s, Mark was inspired by the early pioneers of turntablism such as the Latin Rascals, Shep Pettibone, Frankie “Hollywood” Crocker and John “Mr. Magic” Rivas. These legendary DJs produced the signature New York City sound heard on WBLS and WRKS 98.7 Kiss FM.
Mark served in the U.S. Army as a combat medic from 1983 to 2003. While stationed in Europe and Asia he performed in a wide variety of venues spinning house, old school, hip-hop and his signature niche genre, reggae.
Mark is a highly professional and skilled entertainer currently available for weddings and private events.
